ETIC_Algarve achieves ERASMUS accreditation between 2021 and 2027

With more than 30 years of existence, the Erasmus Program aims to change paradigms and encourage institutions to look to the future in a consistent and long-term manner. It was with this in mind that the European Commission launched Erasmus Accreditation, marking the beginning of the new Erasmus Program 2021-2027.
ETIC_Algarve saw its application for ERASMUS ACCREDITATION 2021 -2027 approved, thus enabling it to continue the work it has been doing since 2015, which has already facilitated European mobility for professional internships for around 70 trainees and mobility to leading schools in the creative industries for around 30 trainers and technical-pedagogical staff.
Through its participation in the Erasmus+ Program over the past six years, ETIC_Algarve has distinguished itself in the Algarve region as a training institution in the creative and technological areas and has become an asset to the sector, both through its trainers, who are active professionals in the areas they teach, or for the trainees it trains and places in the national and/or international job market, always emphasizing the importance of European professional experience and Environmental Sustainability and Responsibility; continuing higher education for personal and professional growth as well as the enhancement of the curriculum.
Based on the experience it has gained and the network of European partner companies and schools it has established in more than 15 European countries, which earned the school an Erasmus+ Good Practice Award in 2018 for the successful execution and implementation of projects, ETIC_Algarve presented an Erasmus Plan based on
the four basic principles of Erasmus quality:
- Inclusion and diversity;
- Digital Education;
- virtual cooperation; and,
- active participation in the network of Erasmus organizations.
“Being an accredited institution means being part of a larger project, an idea that aims to develop and improve the education and training system in Europe on a permanent and continuous basis. Accredited institutions are recognized by their partners for the quality of their activities and the added value they can bring to the program, thus laying the foundations for longer and more lasting partnerships.”
according to the National Agency Erasmus + education and training.
This Accreditation provides easier access to funding and allows international mobility to be an integral part of school life. It also places ETIC_Algarve at a level of excellence and distinction, as it is one of the few entities in the Algarve to have acquired this accreditation, which gives us credibility and reputation.
With this ERASMUS Accreditation 2021-2027, ETIC_Algarve expects that by 2027 it will be able to achieve 200 mobility placements for recent graduates for internships of 3 to 6 months in companies in their field of training, as well as mobility for 65 trainers and staff.
Continuing the pioneering spirit that drives ETIC_Algarve through “learning by doing,” with European Mobility being developed through this ERASMUS 2021-2027 Accreditation, participants will have the opportunity to improve their skills, come into contact with new working methods, and acquire new (sociocultural) skills that will enable personal and professional growth, thus contributing to the strengthening of human resources in the region’s creative industries.
