How to bring sound to life
The Electronic Music Production and Creation Course at ETIC_Algarve is a technical, professional and creative training programme that prepares you to work in the music industry. If you are looking for a music production course with technical and practical teaching, here you will learn how to create, produce and transform ideas into complete tracks, exploring different musical genres and using the latest sound production technologies.
In this course, you will develop a solid studio workflow and evolve in sound creation, with a practical approach very close to what you find in the market. It is an electronic music course suitable for those who want to evolve quickly, with constant practice and technical guidance, through music production classes, gaining confidence to enter the music industry.
In the Electronic Music Production and Creation Course, you will learn:
- Beatmaking and arrangement production for various musical genres
- Music creation using specialised software and equipment
- Recording, editing, mixing and mastering techniques
- Development of creativity and innovation in a musical context
- Preparation and management of music projects for studio and live performance.
You will have direct contact with professional recording and production studios, post-production and mastering facilities, and real concert experiences, both on stage and in front of the audience, in collaboration with Zipmix Studio and Coalman Recordings.
At the end of the Technical Course in Electronic Music Production and Creation, you will have the opportunity to participate in a European ERASMUS+ mobility project, enjoying an enriching international experience through an internship.
ETIC_Algarve also offers an optional 320-hour extracurricular internship through the JUMP programme – Support for Professional Integration, to help students enter the job market with confidence.

Application Process

- Completion of application form (sent by e-mail after scheduling the interview)
- Attend the previously scheduled interview with the Academic Director, at which you must present your portfolio, if you have one.

nrolment takes place between March and October, until the start of classes, and while there are places available on the courses.
Enrolment can be completed after the admission requirements have been verified and upon payment of the enrolment fee and presentation of:
- Curriculum / Biography
- 1 passport-type photograph, in digital format
- Certificate of qualifications
- Documents of the Applicant and the Payment Manager (Identity Card / Citizen Card + Taxpayer Card + Proof of address: electricity, water, telephone bill or driving licence)
- Filling out and signing the registration form and training contract.
