“Conversation with “Lábia” | To be a Designer

The “Conversation with “Lábia”” is a debate circle, a masterclass and an experimental session, inserted in “LÁBIA - Idea Laboratory of ETIC_Algarve” which started on the 4th of April with a conversation dedicated to the theme “To be a Designer”, an event created for our community, with a special focus for the field and classes of Design. In collaboration with our guests Ricardo Calabaça a freelancer, Sónia Duarte a Designer for KOBU - Digital Creative Agency and João Henrique a Graphic Communication Leader for Ikea in Loulé, the conversation took place between 18:30h and 19:30h, talking about the challenges related to Design work methods and processes, and which were the paths our speakes chose. From managing clients, to creating “out of the box” ideas and art, “but staying within the box” of the rules that compose the graphic communication of a big brand, our speakers addressed a lot of themes aiming to open our trainees horizons and inspire them to follow the dream career.
