Biography

Among his childhood memories he recalls the photos taken with his grandfather's Ikoflex and the first Kodak at 8 years old. In 1977 he joined the staff of the Secretary of State for Culture as a photographer. Since 1991, the year ETIC was created, he has been a teacher and coordinator of Photography courses. In the meantime, he photographed Heritage, for Art galleries, Theater and Dance groups. He integrated the groups "Diapositivos" and "Neon" responsible for multimedia performance shows with musicians, actors and dancers in places as different as the Vilar de Mouros Festival, Center of Modern Art of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Aula Magna, Art galleries or Bairro Alto bars. He no longer believes that Photography helps save the World. He still believes that the best in the world is people.
