How to direct a story from beginning to end
Develops technical and creative skills for creation of audiovisual contents for the video, cinema and television industries.
Transmits knowledge about camera operation, lighting and sound, as well as the fundamental training to integrate in any phase of the development of an audiovisual project: directing, pre-production, production, post-production and editing.
Promotes research, analysis and the practice of themes inherent to the creation of audiovisual contents.
Develops professional skills necessary for the integration in the audiovisual world and context.

INTRODUCTION TO CINEMA
- Introduction the cinematographic analysis, history and aesthetics
AUDIOVISUAL LANGUAGE
- Initiation to the development process of an audiovisual project, what are the steps and what are the names and roles of the team member
- Development of work practices, image capturing techniques and technical language
- Analysis and comprehension of the frame composition, the relation between narrative and plastic elements. Audiovisual grammar.
AUDIOVISUAL AESTHETICS
- Introduction to the aesthetic thinking
- Pertinence of the aesthetic decisions according to the need of each project
- Analysis of audiovisual pieces
- Skill development in the fields of Directing Art and Photography
SCRIPT SUPERVISING AND CONTINUITY
- Concepts, methods and rules applied to script supervising
- Manipulation of the narrative, emotional and sound continuity
SCRIPT, SCREENPLAY AND STORYBOARD
- Strategies of codification and transposition from script to screenplay, and to a shot list
- Fundamental of Visual Storytelling
- Building a planification and structuring the related Storyboard
DIRECTING ACTORS
- Analysis and understanding of the main trends, acting schools and interpretation.
- Representation techniques, directing actors, casting and rehearsals with actors

- Anatomy of a camera
- Introduction to shooting and lighting equipment, the respective rules and handling procedures
- Practice of technical image capture and the construction of distinct aesthetic environment

Application Process
The applications take place between the months of March and October, until the beginning of the school year and classes, as long as there are vacancies in the courses.
These can be done after the verification of the admission conditions, upon the payment of the registration and submitting the following documents:
- Curriculum vitae / Biography
- 1 passport photo (digital or printed)
- Certificate of habilitations
- Documents from the Candidate and the Responsible for the payment (National Identification Card + Taxpayer Identification Number + Proof of Address: water, electricity or telephone bills or driving license)
- Completing and Signing the application form and the training contract
